These days, money matters.
Although loved ones in spirit don’t give out winning lottery numbers (darn!), they do have a lot to say about our economic welfare and worries. In fact, this subject is too big to address in one article, so I’ll continue in installments.
The first point I’d like to make is that there is no money in the afterlife - no dollars, no euro, no yen. Therefore, asking your loved ones to shower down money from heaven is like asking for snow in the desert. However, those in the afterlife have memories of what it is like to live with money constraints and deprivations due to war, famine and economic depression. Their memories, joined with an afterlife perspective, can help us navigate our way through our current recessionary period.
During sessions and events, the spirits almost always talk about work. For instance, a grandfather in spirit talked to his grandson about selling eggs door to door during the Depression. He showed me a basket of broken eggs and gave me a feeling that he hated wasting good food. Later in life this same grandfather went on to invent state-of-the art packaging for eggs so that they wouldn’t break during shipping. Humble work during hard times became an inspiration for a business that created wealth for his family.
