DEJA SHUI ALL OVER AGAIN! Time to revitalize your resolutions!
The first full day of summer has come and gone and yet, some of those fabulous fortunes and lazy days chock full of luck that were promised by all those empowering action steps you took at the top of the year still aren’t exactly panning out. Or maybe you saw sparks of luck and glimpses of fortune but couldn’t seem to totally nail them down as these many months have been whirring by? Whatever or however, the halfway mark or sixth month of any year is as good a time as any to take stock of your Shui and maybe do a little rejuvenating and restoration to all those intentions you activated as 2010 came calling!
Let’s look at some of the ideas, insights and advice that I ladled out at that same tip top of year time and see how we can increase your opportunities for Health, Happiness and Prosperity for all the rest of 2010 by adding and abetting each of them:
1. So, the first thing I initially told you to do before the first day of January 2010 was to thoroughly and completely clean your entire living space. This practical act washes away the old while also inviting new, fresh inspirations and opportunities to come and stay awhile. The clean house rule still applies whenever you are trying to restore and refresh your energies and your intentions, but this time around you might want to clean up your space from a deeper, much more cosmic perspective. Go ahead and light either a frankincense or sandalwood incense stick and, starting at your front entry, walk your main space in a clockwise direction carrying this smoky smudge. Be sure to stop at the corners in each room so that this incense can open and then cleanse those same spaces too. This easy but entirely efficient act can clear and cleanse away any negative stuff still lingering while also energetically opening a pathway for your intentions to manifest. Clean your house. Cleanse your energies. A one two punch that will bring that aforementioned hat trick of Health, Happiness and Prosperity before 2010 is through.
2. Now, last time around I also talked about moving 27 things around your house in order to move a myriad of stalled energies or stuck opportunities in your life. This single action step is called the Feng Shui ‘Gold’ standard but I think that this time out we’ll use some silver to activate the same sorts of successful results. In order to energetically call in all the appropriate people, places and things we need to find fulfillment, satisfaction and comfort in our lives, find any small silver box (or you can create one yourself simply by surrounding any box with silver spray paint or even aluminum foil.) With red ink on white paper, write a list of nine intentions that you would like to see unfold as the rest of this year does. Put that paper in the silver box, tie the box with nine (or some multiple of that same number) inches of red ribbon and then place this silver lining somewhere in the HELPFUL PEOPLE area (entryway) of your house. Leave that silver box in that same space until this year comes to a close. Or, what I should I say is ‘until this year comes to a super-duper and success-FULL close!
