Sonya Fitzpatrick - Pet Psychic

Sonya Fitzpatrick is America's most trusted animal communicator and animal activist. She is well-known as the host of Animal Planet's The Pet Psychic television show. Her weekly animal advice and call-in talk show, Animal Intuition, airs on SIRIUS Satellite Radio. From her early childhood in England, Sonya has been able to communicate with animals. Her relationship with her pet terrier, Judy, grew so close that as Judy grew older, Sonya could actually feel in her own body the aches and pains her dog was experiencing. Traumatized by the death of some of the animals on her dad's farms, Sonya deliberately shut off her ability to communicate telepathically with animals, determined to protect herself from the heartbreak.

After a spiritual experience in 1994, Sonya reopened her channels of telepathic communication with animals. Beginning with her own pets, Sonya used her telepathic skills to help solve animal behavioral problems and assist with their physical ailments. She has also helped many individuals reunite with lost pets. In 1996, she and her family established the GOAL foundation - "Gift of Animal Life Sanctuary.
