--on DECEMBER 10 (9:36am EST, 2:36pm GMT) and on DECEMBER 11 for many in the far east--is the LAST TOTAL ECLIPSE in the signs of SAGITTARIUS-GEMINI this time around. This run of eclipses started on December Solstice 2010. The next eclipse season in June-July 2012 has no total eclipse, but features the spectacular Venus occultation that helps make 2012 the very special year it is. We'll be talking more and more about that moment.

For now, this month's TOTAL ECLIPSE opens further the doorway into a grand New Year. The GEMINI FULL MOON offers many options, maybe too many, which obscures the clear way forward. What is your truth out of all the roads that seem to open before you? Let your intuition be your guide.

URANUS, MERCURY and JUPITER turn direct in December, indicating forward movement into new directions and dimensions.

It has become increasingly obvious that the chaotic effects of the Pluto in Capricorn square Uranus in Aries are very much in evidence.  As mentioned in previous writings in this column, these planetary manifestations have to do with huge social unrest that pit the power establishment of governments, banking and Wall Street plutocrats against the revolutionary social dynamics inherent in the incoming archetype of Uranus in Aries.  The on-going anti-Wall Street demonstrations and the horrific antics taking place in Washington, will only lead to more chaos before a move to balance is ever made possible. As the old expression goes: “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”  The summer of 2012 (actually from late May until early October) will be a period of tremendous discontent, rioting, social rebellion, and terrible rhetoric.
