Have you ever wondered what your mind is actually doing when you are asleep and dreaming? Think about this: When you are sleeping, the only thing that is resting is your body, while your mind is simultaneously doing any number of things - including accessing all kinds of mental imagery. You may be reviewing life events, accessing memory, working through problems, processing emotional stress or astrally traveling, just to name a few.
But dreams are also a portal. They can be used as ‘a tool’ to connect you to other streams of consciousness. There are times when we might create a link with our Guides or Angels. Through the safety of the dream state, it’s an easy way for them to interact with us, without frightening us, and (hopefully) inspire us to a higher level of wisdom. For instance, I can remember my guides working with me when I was writing my book. On several occasions, I would wake up in the middle of the night writing ‘something important’ that needed to be added to the book and I would literally have to drag myself out of bed, for fear of losing some very inspirational material. The key is to get yourself to remember them upon awakening, especially if dream recall isn’t common for you. Meanwhile, I’ll give you a few guidelines about recognizing this type of dream, which is really a visit, and I would be willing to bet that nearly everyone has had a dream experience like this (if not many of them) at some point in their lives, which has included a visit from someone in spirit.
What sets these events apart from regular dreams or from other psychic experiences are the following details:
